Campaign Background

Hispanics and Latinos represent 14% of Oregon’s population, with a remarkable 31% growth between 2010 and 2020. Nationally, the U.S. Latino GDP reached $4.1 trillion by 2025, making Hispanic marketing strategies a powerful business opportunity.

The Oregon Lottery recognized this potential and sought to build a stronger connection with Spanish-speaking and bilingual audiences. While they had already introduced culturally inspired games like Mexican Lotería and Chinese New Year Scratch-Its, they needed authentic Hispanic brand storytelling to truly engage this growing community.

Goal: Create culturally relevant, Spanish-language advertising and in-culture creative that celebrates the Oregon Lottery’s role in preserving over 250 state parks while connecting meaningfully with Hispanic audiences.
